HUDSON, Linette Marie- Dundee. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Linette Marie Hudson, on Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was a daughter of Joan Lorraine MacLean (Port Hawkesbury) and Don Ramsey (North Sydney). Linette is survived by her parents; husband, Graham; sister, Cheryl (Pierre) Gaudet, Dartmouth; brother, Vince (Jean), Moncton; as well as her precious pets, Jayda and Hailey. She was predeceased by her favourite uncle, Jim Stockley.
An accomplished pastry chef, Linette was a lover of animals, good food, traditions and a champion berry picker. Her love of peace and solitude was fulfilled by her cozy home in Dundee. Its orchards, fields and babbling brook provided her with comfort and inspired her spirit. She will be fondly remembered by friends and neighbours as a beautiful caring soul, a stalwart of propriety and the most loyal of friends.
Friends and family will gather in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury on Thursday, October 29, at 1:30 p.m. to celebrate Linette’s life. Donations in memory of Linette can be made to the Cape Breton SPCA. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
