Chad Hilton Haywood - 1984-2014, Stewiacke. It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Chad Hilton Haywood of Stewiacke, at age 29 on Friday, September 5, 2014. Chad leaves behind his loving wife, Tonya Feetham and three young sons, Christian, Ryan and Nikolas, parents, Tom and Darlene Haywood, Lower Sackville, brothers, Jeremy and Nathaniel. Chad was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Hilton and Helen Haywood, maternal grandparents, Stan and Lee Wood and other extended family members. Chad will be greatly missed by father-in-law, Gerald (Gail) Feetham, Mabou; mother-in-law, Jo-Ann Feetham (Charles), Orangedale; brother-in-laws, David (Laureen) Feetham, Alberta; Roger (Karen) Thomas, Musquodoboit Harbour; sister-in-law, Barbara (Jamie) White, Inverness. Chad will also be truly missed by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces and their families and his friends. Chad worked in the Environmental field as a Project Manager for DLS Group for the past 12 years. In his teenage years, Chad was actively involved in the Lower Sackville Stetsons and Spurs RCMP Group. Things Chad enjoyed were going to the cottage, music, hunting and fishing with his friends and family, especially fishing with his sons. Cremation has taken place as per his wishes. A celebration of Chad’s short life will be held with visitation taking place from 7-9 p.m. Friday, September 12 in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 54 Queen Street, Guysborough. The funeral mass will be held 2 p.m. Saturday September 13, St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Rte 344, St. Francis Harbour, Guysborough Co, with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. A reception will be held in St. Francis Church Hall after the interment. Family flowers only please, memorial donations can be made to Chad’s immediate family or to St. Francis of Assisi Parish Cemetery Fund.
