GOULD, Peter Jerome – 66, Waycobah First Nation, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012, in Bucklaw, Victoria Co. Born in Whycocomagh he was a son of the late Andrew and Mary Agnes (Phillips) Gould. Peter was a member of Blessed Kateri Parish Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Waycobah.
Surviving are his daughters, Lisa (Sheldon) Marshall, Chapel Island; Annie Gould (Victor Googoo), Petula Googoo (Roger), both of Waycobah; Nancy Bernard (Thomas), Eskasoni; son, William (Shauna), Waycobah; sister, Mary Joan Lafford (Karl), Eskasoni; brothers, Roddie and Richard (Isabel Martin), both of Waycobah; uncle, Noel J. Gould, Waycobah; aunt, Veronica (Flo) Young, Eskasoni; 22 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Peter was predeceased by his daughter, Sharon Cope; brothers, John, Bernie, Wilfred, Joseph; sisters, Barbara Jean, Annie Elizabeth.
Visitation will be after 4p.m. Saturday, April 28, in the family residence, 8909 Hwy 105, Waycobah First Nation. Funeral Mass will be 11a.m. Monday, April 30, from Blessed Kateri Parish Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Waycobah, with Father Robert McNeil officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements for Peter are under the care and direction of the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
