HAYDEN, Geraldine Heather – 59, Manchester, Guysborough Co., died peacefully at home on Thursday, March 15, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous and inspirational battle with cancer. Geraldine is the daughter of Bessie and the late Douglas Simpson. She is survived by her husband, Grant; children, Heather (Allan), Edmund; siblings, James (Mona), Robert, Gail, Sharlene (Norman), Marilyn and Carol. Geraldine was a Master Cosmetologist who enjoyed owning her own Salon for many years. Gerry will always be remembered for her kind, generous ways and had often been the strength for her loved ones. We invite you to join us as we wake Geraldine at the family home, 782 Hwy 344, Manchester, Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 19, at 2 p.m. from Guysborough United Baptist Church, with Rev.
