ENGLAND (Hart), Cora Shirley - 88, Manchester, Guysborough Co., died Friday, January 12, 2007, at home. Born in Boylston, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late Levi and Mary "Minnie" (Peart) Hart. Cora was a member of Boylston United Church. She loved life very much and to those lucky enough to have known her, whether family or friends, she was a very kind and caring person. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by daughters, Hazel McRae, Port Hawkesbury; Genevieve Grant, Guysborough; Verna Pauley, Bayside, Halifax Co.; Shirley Ehler, Mulgrave; Mary Ryan, Middle Melford; Marion Fraser, Steep Creek; Sylvia Breen, Cape Jack; sons, Arthur, Manassette Lake; Wallace, Boylston; Gary, Glenkeen; Gregory, Manchester; John, Halifax; brother, Ross Hart, Boylston; sister, Lillian Green, Florida, U.S.A.; 42 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, Lorne Russell England; sisters, Jean Hart, Florence Kerr, Lois Taylor, Emma Spanks, Verna Taylor; brothers, Harold, Gordon, Cyril, Carl, Edgar, Earl, and Arthur. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough, with funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday in Boylston United Church, Rev. Wilfred Pelley officiating.
