WELSH (Ryan), Marion. We are sad to announce the passing of our mother, Marion (Ryan) Welsh on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the age of 100 years in the Melville Lodge, Spryfield. Born in Canso on July 2, 1918, to the late Joseph and Katie (Horne) Ryan.
Marion was predeceased by her husband, Carson Welsh and was the last surviving member of her family of 13 brothers and sisters. Left to mourn are her sons, William, Robert (Wanda); daughters, Margaret (Art), Vera, Cathy, Edie (Greg); several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. A private burial will be held at a later date next to her husband, Carson. Memorial donations to a charity of choice. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
