Keefe, Evelyn Elizabeth "Evie"- age 86 years of Little Dover, Guysborough Co. Passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Evie was born in Little Dover; she was a daughter of the late Howard and Alita (Newell) Bouchie.
She was a resident of Canso Seaside Manor. Evie retired from the fish plant where she worked as a packer. She was a member of St. Agnes Parish, Little Dover. Evie is survived by her daughters, Annette (Greg) Mitchelitis, Middle Sackville; Corine (Barry) Avery, Lower Sackville; sons, Kenny (Sherry), PEI; Darrel (Norma), Little Dover; Robin, Canning; sisters, Joyce, New Glasgow; Emily, Truro; Colleen, Port Hastings; Susan, PEI; Hilda, Bridgewater; brothers, Martin , Little Dover; Bobby, BC; 12 grandchildren and 17great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph "Gabe"; daughter, Yvonne "Bonnie"; sister, Ethel; brothers, Roger and Bud.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 1, from 1-7 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, July 2 in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover with Father Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Evie may be made to St. Agnes Parish Cemetery. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
