Born in Guysborough, she was a daughter of Lorraine (Chisholm) Torrey, Boyslton, and the late William E. Worth. She was in management of fast food services. Phyllis was an adherent of Boylston United Church. Surviving are daughters, Jamie, Manchester; Michelle, Boylston; sons, Michael Anthony Frazier, Halifax; Mark Leonard, Swansea, Mass.; sisters, Debbie (Paul) Taylor, Swan Hills, Alta.; Beverley (Gary) Simpson, Manchester; Bonnie (Darrell) Grant, Dawn (Donald) Grant, Shirley, all of Boylston; brothers, Alexander (Cathy) Worth , Moncton; Douglas (Donna ) Worth , Boylston; Robert (Vicki) Worth, New Market, Ont.; Trevor Torrey, Boylston; maternal grandmother, Minnie (Chisholm) Matthews, Guysborough. She was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Jamie Chisholm; paternal grandparents, Patrick and Alice (Pelley) Worth; companion, Patrick Dort. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Tuesday until time of service at 2 p.m. in Boylston United Church , Rev. Leonard Oracheski and Rev. Freda MacDonald officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
