Dear Gord & Ann & family /Reg & Ann/Dawn & Randal & Craig/Donna & sons and extended Griffith family: We were sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Mother Marie. An exceptional lady who certainly devoted herself to her family and her love to all her Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren. Many a pair of wool socks she knitted for our family to keep their feet cozy warm. The Turkey pies she would make after Christmas tasted like right out of a Chefs kitchen. Thinking of all of you during such a sorrowful time of loss. Our sincere sympathy to all the Griffith family. Sincerely,Frank & Paula MacLean & family

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I knew your mother through Danny, some card playing, but over the years, mainly through stories told by both Danny and Donna. Each time they would mention her, what immediately crossed my mind was her amazing smile and ebullient nature. I knew those were the things she passed on and ones that made this world a better place. Sometimes, in this life, you admire someone you spent so little time with, but I did admire your mom and I am grateful for her presence in my life. I am so sorry for your loss.

Simply my favourite person, and the best grandmother one could ever have. I felt only her love every time I was near. Luckily for me, being her grandson, that was often, and over a long period of time.

Marie was not only a very kind, generous and loving Mother/Grandmother, but she possessed a quick wit and wonderful sense of humour which I came to admire and appreciate so much during our visits to Port Hawksbury to spend time with her lovely daughter, Dawn, (married to my brother Randal). We went shopping together several times, and whether it was a Department Store or Supermarket we always had a fun doing the everyday chores of life but finding something to laugh about in all things great and small. Her laughter and quick wit and ability to turn every occasion into a memorable one will always remain with me. She was one of a kind and I am grateful for the brief time I had to spend with her and get to know her. I am quite certain that thanks to Marie, things will never be dull in Heaven again. May she rest in peace!

My dear cousins, sending you our deepest sympathies. I remember how the old Kenny's Keep smelled of good cooking and there was always some goodies to eat when Aunts Rita and Julie were up for a visit. It was such a pleasure to see your mom a few years ago and even more happy that her and Dad reunited. I will never forget his story when he was little and always had his hands in his pockets and Aunt Rita was tired of telling him not to do that so she sewed them up lol! Memories are what will ease the pain of your loss. Sending you love, hugs and prayers Cousin Lynn Nikolas and Cloe
