HAWLEY (Petroff), Marjorie Jean - 76, Port Hood, died Friday, February 6, 2004, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital.
Born in Trenton, Pictou Co., she was a daughter of the late Yimes 'Jim' and Gertrude (Clybourne) Petroff.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter's Parish, Port Hood.
Surviving are sister, Gladys Petroff Kesler, Ontario; sisters-in-law, Isabell Hawley and Diane (Lloyd) Spears, both of Port Hood; brother, John, Ontario; half-brother, James Petroff, Trenton; brothers-in-law, Jackie (Olive) Hawley, Alex Angus (Eileen) Hawley, both of Port Hood; nieces, Janie Boyles Sommerville, Saint John, N.B.; Barbara Boyles Jenne, Oregon, U.S.A.; Colleen Boyles, Newport; nephew, Donald W. Boyles, Brampton, Ont.; 13 Hawley and Spears nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her faithful dog, Jake. She was predeceased by her husband, John Douglas; sisters, Marion Boyles and Anne Petroff.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Port Hood Community Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Father Charles Cameron officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
