Googoo, Darcy Charles –26, Waycobah First Nation, passed away suddenly on Saturday August 21, 2010 as the result of a motor vehicle accident near Thorburn exit. Born in Sydney, he was a son of Angus Michael Googoo, Waycobah and the late Sharon Marie (Pierro) Googoo. Darcy was employed by the Eskasoni Gym and enjoyed oyster fishing. He was a member of Blessed Katerie Parish, Holy Trinity Roman Catholic, Waycobah.
Darcy is survived by daughter, Loressa Michael, Waycobah; son, Craig Michael, Waycobah; sister, Krista, Waycobah; bother, Ashley, Waycobah; several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the family residence, 81 Subdivision Rd., Waycobah. Funeral mass will held at 11 a.m. Thursday from Blessed Katerie Parish, Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Father Robert McNeil officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
