GEORGE, Tryphena 'Trixie' - 68, Queensport, Guysborough Co., died Monday, June 26, 2006, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Lead Cove, N.L., she was a daughter of the late Eli and Pearl (Button) Button. She was a former employee of Volkswagen Canada and was self-employed in the hospitality business for a number of years. She was a member of Christ Anglican Church, Queensport. Trixie was a helping hand to all who passed through her life and a great fundraiser for her church. She truly loved a game of cards at any time. Surviving are husband, Paul; sister, Stella (Alfred) Richard, Oshawa, Ont.; brothers, Morley (Florence), Conception Bay, N.L.; Andrew (Rosalyn), Bobcaygeon, Ont.; Don (Frances), Mount Pearl, N.L.; a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Christ Anglican Church with Rev. Tory Byrne officiating.
