Myatt (Grover) Janice Elizabeth- 44, Upper Whitehead, Guysborough Co. passed away Friday January 26, 2007 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Guysborough on April 30, 1962 she was a daughter of Douglas and Daisy (Parker) Grover. Janice was a loving mother and devoted wife. She wore the wings of an angel on her back while carrying her family through life’s difficult moments. Janice was the community hairdresser who devoted her life to her customers. She could never say “no” to anyone in need. Janice was an active member of St. Joseph’s Parish, Port Felix, and was involved in many fundraising activities and community functions. She was also a devoted “hockey mom” having put three sons through the Canso and area minor hockey program. Janice will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched, of which there were many. Janice is survived by her husband, Robert; sons Robbie,Wolfville; Jonathan at home; sisters Juanita (Mike) Dort, Canso; Donna (Blair) Horne, Canso; Arlene (Dave) Bannister, Pictou; Colleen (Darren) Wright, Monastery; brothers, Cecil Grover, Whitehead; Douglas (Florence) Grover, Upper Whitehead; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son Myles Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-9 p.m. Thursday in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be held 11a.m. Friday from Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Canso with Fr. Daniel Boudreau officiating, burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joseph’s parish, Port Felix. Reception to follow in the Canso fire hall. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
