LeVangie Monica Victoria-50, Frankville, Antigonish Co., died Wednesday, October 4, 2006 in St. Marthas Regional Hospital, Antigonish, surrounded by her loving family .Born in Canso, she was a daughter of Mary Ellen (Ehler) Greencorn, Frankville and the late Sylvester Greencorn.
Monica had worked in the fast food industry and for the last number of years was employed at the Crab Plant, Aulds Cove, where she enjoyed the camaraderie of her fellow workers. She was a very happy person and loved to dance. She also enjoyed playing ball with the Havre Boucher Smurfettes and dearly loved her animals. Surviving are her loving husband of 33 years, Stanton; loving sons, Glenn, at home; Bruce (Gina), Havre Boucher; Conrad, Fort McMurray, AB; brothers, Sylvester ”Jimmy” (Jackie), Frankville; Fredie (Brenda), Havre Boucher; her pride and joy granddaughter, Winter, the daughter she never had.
Visitation will be 6-9 pm today in St. Paul’s Centre, Havre Boucher. Funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday in St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Havre Boucher, with Rev. Robert McNeil and Rev. Susan Best officiating. Interment at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Havre Boucher Centre or St. Paul’s Church.
