KEATING, Eileen Catherine - 88, Mulgrave, died Sunday, September 3, 2006, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Mulgrave, she was a daughter of the late James and Christina (Peltington) MacMillan. Eileen was a retired cook’s helper employed with the Skye Motel, Port Hastings. She was a member of St. Lawrence Parish, Mulgrave, and a 50 year member of the CWL. She is survived by daughter, Dolores (Eddy) Woodman, Mulgrave; son, Billy (Carol) Keating, Prince Rupert, B.C.; sister, Louise (Berkley) Mattie, Mattie Settlement; grandchildren, Gerard, David, Michael, Denise, Jane Eileen; 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William; infant son, Gerard; infant daughter, Mary; grandson, Robert; brothers, Charlie, Billy Goose, Joe; sisters, Martha, Chris, Margaret, and Mary. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Father Jude Nzekwe officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Mulgrave and Area Resting Place or Canadian Cancer Society.
