HOGAN, Dorothy Cecelia - 82, Mulgrave, died Tuesday, December 13, 2005, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Antigonish, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Helena (DeCoste) Hogan. In her earlier years, Dorothy was a substitute teacher in the McNair School, Mulgrave. She was a member of St. Lawrence Parish, Mulgrave; a member of the Altar Society and St. Lawrence C.W.L. She was a long-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Royal Canadian Legion, Cambrai Branch 37, Mulgrave. She was also member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Mulgrave Fire Department. Surviving are brothers, Dennis, Ontario; Carson, at home; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brother, Wendell in infancy. There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Father Peter McLeod officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Mulgrave and Area Resting Place. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
