MEAGHER, Mary Leona - 90, Auld's Cove, died Monday, November 8, 2004, in R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. Born in Guysborough Intervale, she was a daughter of the late William and Eva (Cunningham) Cleary. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Lawrence parish, Mulgrave, a life member of the St. Lawrence C.W.L. and an honorary member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Auld's Cove Volunteer Fire Department. She is survived by daughters, Eileen Wood, Auld's Cove, Myrtle (Damien) Breen, Cape Jack; Helen (Stephen) MacLellan, Auld's Cove; Carol Ann (Jim) Shearer, New Hamburg, Ont.; daughter-in-law, Priscilla Meagher, Auld's Cove; sons, Leo (Margie), Auld's Cove; Bernie (Evelyn), Richmond Hill, Ont.; brothers, Leo (Elsie), Shubenacadie; Jackie, Guysborough Intervale; 26 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband, Carl; son, Robert; son-in-law, Allan Wood; sister, Helen Lohnes; brothers, Robert, Tom, and Bernie. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place. Funeral mass will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave, Father Peter MacLeod officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the R.K. Grace Hall or Mulgrave and Area Resting Place.
