Born in Halifax on July 9, 1987, born-again August, 1996, passed away suddenly at his home in Blues Mills, Thursday, April 29, 2004. Jonny was a beloved son of Janet Marie Hunt, Blues Mills, Philip Dale Quigley (Linda), Truro. He was dearly loved by his sister, Melodie Marie, Prospect; brothers, Jason Dale and Joshua Philip, at home; loving uncle to Jordan Philip Quigley. Jonny was a grade 11 honours student at Dalbrae Academy, Mabou, and a member of the Blues Mills Gospel Hall. He will be sadly missed by his grandparents, Hazel and Arthur Quigley, O'Leary, P.E.I.; Marion and Ralph Hunt, Wentworth; uncles, aunts, cousins and friends, too numerous to mention. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon today in Blues Mills Gospel Hall, from where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. today, David Hunt and Fred Bartlett officiating. Interment will be held 3 p.m. Sunday in Upper Wentworth Cemetery. All friends welcome. Memorial donations may be made to Children's Help Line. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
