HORTON, Edgar Thomas – 74, Antigonish, formerly of Roachvale, Guysborough Co.; died Saturday, October 10, 2015 at home. Born in Roachvale, he was a son of the late William L. and Myrtle L. (Porter) Horton. Edgar was a retired labourer, woodsman and avid backyard mechanic. He love traveling the back roads, hunting and fishing. Edgar is survived by Niece, Donna (Stephen) Vaux, Shubenacadie; nephews, Doug (Donna) Dort, Guysborough; James Worth; Larry Worth, both of Cold Lake, AB; Ronnie Worth, Boylston; Brian (Kim), Worth Monastery; Patrick Worth, ON; several grand nieces and grand nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Marion Worth, Myrtis Dort; brothers, Billy, Howard and George. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough, Rev. Heather Manuel officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society.
