Hart, Jean Katherine (Fraser) – 97, Boylston, Guysborough Co.; Born Sept. 9, 1913 – Died Thursday, June 30, 2011 in Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Davidson) Fraser of Trenton, NS. She was a school teacher for many years. She taught in Ironbound Island, Greens Brook, Boylston and Guysborough. She did a lot of community work which she loved. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Boylston United Church and the Women’s Auxiliary. She is survived by daughters, Betty (Ralph) Kavanagh, St. Francis Harbour; Joyce (Leaman) Hiltz, Middle Sackville, NS; sons, Carl (Joy) Hart, Hubley; Raymond (Donna) Hart, Kemptown; Charles (Denise) Hart, Boylston; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Carl; sister, Margaret; brothers, William and Jack Fraser, great-grandson, John Martin. Special thanks to Milford Haven Home for Special Care and the Doctors for their wonderful care in the last years of our Mothers life. Visitation will be held in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough, Friday from 2-9 p.m. with the funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday, in Boylston United Church with Rev. Heather Manuel officiating. Burial in Boylston United Church Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
