HYNES, Helen Marie — 84, Canso, passed away in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish, on May 25,2010. Born in Halifax and formerly of White Head, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Minnie Conway. Marie loved her card games and also loved to knit dish clothes for all her family and friends. She always thought of others before herself. She was loved and will be sadly missed by all. Survived by her daughters, Maxine (Jerry) Lumsden, Canso; Valerie Hynes, Toronto; Joanne (Jim) MacQuarrie, New Glasgow; sons, Paul (Mary) Hynes, Toronto; Terrance (Heather) Hynes, Halifax; son-in-law, George MacInnis, Windsor, Ont.; sisters, Louise Lumsden, Canso; Celene (Arnold) Munroe, Enfield; brother, Wilfred (Betty) Conway, White Head; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Hynes; daughter, Geraldine MacInnis. Cremation has taken place. By her request, there will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 1 in St. Joseph's Parish, Port Felix, Father Andrew Gillis officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Star of the Sea Parish, Canso. Service Information Service Date Tuesday, June 1, 2010
