HOWIE, Cora M. - 93, Donahue Lake, Guysborough Co., died Sunday, January 28, 2007, at home. Born in Lundy, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Angelina (Avery) Gerrior.
Cora was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter’s Parish, Larry’s River. She is survived by sister, Victoria, Dartmouth. She was predeceased by husband, Lee; brothers, William, Simon, Lester, and James; sister, Mildred MacDonald.
Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church with Father Angus MacGillivray officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
