Welsh, Arlene Joanne - age 67 of Hadleyville, Guysborough Co., passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Hamilton, Ontario she was a daughter of the late William James and Eva Viola (Pacey) Hamilton. Arlene was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Middle Melford. She was a part-time Mail Driver, she enjoyed going to hockey rinks with her grandchildren, and watching them play. She loved going on road trips exploring new places and she made two trips across Canada. She is survived by her husband, George; daughters, Melinda Welsh and Tasha Welsh both of Mulgrave; sisters, Darlene Hamilton and Charlene Marsh both of Hamilton, Ont.; brothers, Billy; Bobby (Michelena) and John all of Hamilton, Ont.; grandchildren, Brandon Breen, Ben Breen, Kian Kennedy and Khloe Kennedy. Arlene was predeceased by her sisters, Jacquline Hamilton, Marlene Gay and brother, Wayne. Visitation will be held Friday, July 8 in Mulgrave & Area Resting Place from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9 at 11 a.m. in St. James Anglican Church, Middle Melford with Rev. Evelyn Knorr officiating. Burial to follow in Holy Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery, Hadleyville. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Arlene to Guysborough Memorial Hospital or St. James Anglican Church, Middle Melford.
