MacEACHERN, Christy Ellen Frances – It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Christy Ellen Frances (MacNeil) MacEachern of Craigmore, Inverness Co. at the age of 100, on Saturday, March 3, 2012, in the R.K. Born in Craigmore, Inverness Co. on June 2, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Anne (MacEachern) MacNeil. Christy was well known and loved by all who knew her. Her home in Craigmore was known to be filled with more than a few plates of food for both friends and strangers. She was a member of Stella Maris Church, Creignish and past member of the Stella Maris Ladies Auxiliary. Christy was a kind and loving woman who was the happiest when surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
