WILLIAMS, Evelyn Myrtle- Age 79, Halifax and formerly of Blues Mills, Inverness Co., passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, in Parkstone, Halifax. Born in Blues Mills, she was a daughter of the late Angus and Mary Jessie (Ferguson) Morrison. Surviving are her daughters, Sherri (Roy) Wyllie, Tena (Greg) Taylor, both of Dartmouth; son, Earle (Cathy), Port Hawkesbury; sister, Annie (Rev. Gordon) Cann; grandchildren, Dawn (Chaise) Brown, Amy (Lance) Kendall, Matthew Taylor, Zackery Taylor, Ryan Wyllie, Lauren Wyllie; great-grandson, Ashton Brown; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl; brothers, Alex, John, Donald and George, sisters, Miriam MacKenzie and Barbara MacRitchie. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. on Friday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday from Stewart United Church, Whycocomagh with Rev. Rachael Campbell officiating. Burial in Stewartdale Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
