KENNEDY, Mary Jane - 89, Kingsville, Inverness Co., passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2004, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston, with family by her side. Born in Port Hood, she was a daughter of the late Dan Robert and Annie Laurie (MacDonald) MacDonald (Port Hood). She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary of the Angels Parish, Glendale and the Glendale CWL for the past 40 years. She enjoyed a good game of auction and cribbage. She is survived by daughter, Anne Marie (Hugh) Chisholm, Kingsville; grandchildren, Michael and Stephen, Kingsville; Donavon (Tracy) Kennedy, Yarmouth; Velvet (Archie) Provest, Ontario; Justin Kennedy, Yarmouth; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Shaila; nieces, Doris (Bill) Farrow, Lexington; Barbara Miller and Shirley Holdbrook, both of Montreal; sister-in-law, Sister Catherine Kennedy CND, Holy Angels Convent, Sydney. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Colin; son, Lawrence; brothers, Robert, Douglas, John Allan; sister, Anna Bell. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday, in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, in St. Mary of the Angels Roman Catholic Church, Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
