McKEOWN, Joseph Thomas "Tommy"- Age 62, MacIntyre Lake, Inverness Co., passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016, in the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Toronto, he was a son of the late Francis William Richards and Margaret Alice McKeown.
Surviving are his daughter, Christena, Dundee; step-son, Michael Matthews, Dundee; brothers, George Richards, Long Stretch Road; John Richards, Port Hawkesbury; Robert Richards, West Bay. He was predeceased by a sister in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, August 22, in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
