STOCKLEY, Henry Herbert - 88, Ingonish, Victoria Co., passed away Monday, April 9, 2007, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Ingonish, he was a son of the late Frank and Mary (Payne) Stockley. He was a retired fisherman and long-time employee of Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Ingonish.
Henry was a veteran of the Second World War and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion 105, Ingonish, and a member of St. John's Anglican Church, Ingonish.
Henry is survived by his son, Robert (Keri) Stockley, Oshawa, Ont.; stepdaughter, Caroline (Clem MacDonald) MacLean, Lochaber; grandchildren, Robynn, Shaelene, Shawn (Brenda), Lisa, Jennifer, Craig (Tanya), and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Emily, Owen, and Paige; sister, Hazel Stockley, Sydney; a niece and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Carrie (Mackley) Stockley; stepdaughter, Sheila Roberts; sisters, Annie Stockley and Grace Leslie, and brother, George Stockley.
There will be no visitation by family request. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in St. John's Anglican Church, Ingonish, Rev. Elliot Siteman officiating. Burial in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in Henry's memory may be made to St. John's Anglican Church.
