Sarka, Heather Arlene - 50 of East Lake Ainslie. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Heather is finally at peace after a courageous and lengthy struggle with cancer. On Monday, January 1, 2007 she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. Born in Sydney on June 25, 1956 she was a daughter of Phyllis (Lively) Sudds, Halifax and the late Thomas Sudds. She spent her life surrounded by her family and friends. She dedicated her whole self to her family and cherished the times spent with those she loved. Heather is survived by her husband Andy; daughter Cynthia; son Kyle; sister Darlene Sudds, Halifax; brothers Wayne (Karen) Sudds, Calgary; Keith Sudds, Halifax; nieces ,nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Gary, maternal grandparents, Mary and John Lively; paternal grandparents Isabella and Hubert Sudds. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A small private memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh.
