PARKER, Charles Vivian - 65, Canso, died Friday, March 31, 2006 in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Canso, he was a son of Margaret (Mason) Parker, Seaside Manor, Canso, and the late Cecil Parker. He was a retired fisherman and a member of Star of the Sea Parish, Canso. Surviving are his wife, Joanne (LeBlanc); sons, Chuck (Joan), Elmsdale; Mike, Canso; sisters, Daisy (Doug) Grover, White Head; Theresa (Howie) McPhee, Sydney; Brenda Bond, Canso; Marilyn (Eddie) Rossong, Eastern Passage; Rita (Neil) Collins, Sydney; Gertie (Roger) Grant, Colleen (Tom) Bouchie, both of Canso; brothers, Tom (Doris), White Head; Billy (Pauline), Steve (Christina), Dave (Rosie), all of Canso; Nelson, Bridgewater; John (Marg), Canso; granddaughter, Kelsey. He was predeceased by brother, Cecil, and granddaughters, Hope and Haley. Visitation will be held today from 11 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be held at 3 p.m. today in Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Father Daniel Boudreau officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory of Charles may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
