Port Hawkesbury, died Friday, December 26, 2003, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Northeast Margaree, she was a daughter of Earle and Harriet (Timmons) Ross. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark's United Church, Port Hawkesbury. She is survived by her husband, Irvine; daughters, Helen (John) Garneau, Fletchers Lake; Margaret (Rod) Walsh, Westville; son, Walter (Sheryl), Saskatoon; sisters, Kathryn (Charles) Burton, Margaree Valley; Mae (Cletus) McNeil, New Waterford; Florence (Brenton) Ingraham, Port Hood; grandchildren, Denise Halliday, Natalie Garneau, Melissa Woods, Nathan Walsh; great-grandchildren, Morgan Woods, Malcolm Halliday. She was predeceased by son, Alexander; sister, Olga Phillips; brother, Donald. Resting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, December 28, in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, December 29, in St. Mark's United Church, Rev. Wilfred Pelley officiating. Interment in Southbrook Cemetery.
