MacLean, Anne Marie - Sommerville, MA, formerly of Orangedale, Inverness Co. We are very sorry to announce the passing of our beloved sister, Anne Marie "Annie Mae" MacLean on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in Somerville, MA. Annie Mae moved to the US in 1959 and worked as a medical supply supervisor. She was an avid member of the humane society. She is predeceased by her parents, John Hector "John Y" MacLean and Cassie (MacDonald), her sisters, Hughena Tipton and Catherine "Kay" MacNeil; brothers, Clarence, Daniel, Willie, Freddie. She is survived by brothers, Edmund (Doris), Alexander (Joan), Nelson (Shirley), and Ralph (Flossie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by her request. There will be a graveside service in Gillis Cove Cemetery on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016 at 2 p.m. Memorial donations in memory of Annie Mae may be made to the Antigonish SPCA, PO Box 1421, Antigonish, NS, B2G 2L4.
