PELLY, Bernard Oliver "Buck" -73, Guysborough, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015, in the Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Sunnyville, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late Murray and Helen (Mansfield) Pelley. Bernie enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing darts and cards. He was always the life of the party and telling jokes. He also loved planting a garden. Surviving are his loving wife, Judy (Lucas); daughter, Bernadette Lucas (Courtney), Toronto; grandson, Cameron; granddaughter, Renee; sisters, Hanna (Gerry) Flemming, Montreal; Evelyn (Erwin) Brinkschute, Florida; Brenda Pelly, Toronto; Rita Caplan, Calgary; Lois (Ernie) Worth, Antigonish; brothers, Ambrose, Southampton, Ont; Roger (Faye), Peninsula, Ont; George, Toronto; Frank, Sunnyville. He was predeceased by his brothers, Ralph and Rick. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, July 24, in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday from Wesley United Church, Guysborough with Nan Corrigan officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough.
