Myatt, Tanya Marie (Fougere) - Age 38 years of Canso, Guysborough Co. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful girl, Tanya Myatt on Friday, November 25, 2016 in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Antigonish on October 28, 1978, Tanya was the daughter of Doreen Fougere and the late Arthur Breen and adopted daughter of the late Pat Fougere. Tanya was a CCA at Canso Seaside Manor for 18 years. She worked doing what she loved most, taking care of people. Tanya was known for her loving, kind, tender and gentle manner and for her home cooking. Tanya instantly left a lasting impression with everyone who met her. She had an abundance of warmth and kindness which she lovingly shared with everyone she met. This can be seen most evidently by the way she loved her two children Khloe and Rhys with all her heart and soul. She was an amazingly loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. Tanya is survived by her husband, Steven Myatt, Canso; her children, twins Khloe and Rhys Myatt, sisters, Lisa (Jason) Kiley, Jennifer Fougere (Ron Bouchie); grandmother-in-law, Benti Richards, mother and father-in-law, Darlene and Melvin Myatt; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Trina Myatt, as well as nieces and nephews, Blake, Brent, Andrea, Hudson, Matthew and Madison. She was predeceased by her older brother, Glen Allan Collins. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 121 School St., Canso. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Canso with Father Bill Crispo officiating. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory of Tanya may be made to the Lodge that Gives - Canadian Cancer Society.
