McNUTT, Anita - 69, of St. Peters, passed away peacefully in the Strait Richmond Hospital on Monday, May 5th, 2014, surrounded by her loving family and close friends, Eileen Burke, Anna MacPhail, and Jean Pottie. Born in Sampsonville, she was the daughter of Ethel Digout and the late James Fougere. She is survived by her daughter, Rhodena (Cyril MacPhee) of Sampsonville; son, Rod LeBlanc (Maureen Bourque), Ottawa; sister, Evelina (Joe Wincey); brothers, Alex (late Isabelle), Dan (Melinda), John (Rita), Peter (Mary), and Tommy (Brenda); grandchildren, Haley MacPhee, Devon Boudreau, Brandi Boudreau, Alycia Pottie and several nieces and nephews; father-in-law, Harold and the McNutt family. She was predeceased by son, Rubin LeBlanc and husband, Larry McNutt. As per her wishes, no visitation or service, cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank Cape Breton Regional Cancer Center and Palliative Care Unit at Strait Richmond Hospital. A very special thank you to her niece, Ashley Fougere and Lorne "Boogie" Burke for their support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Strait Richmond Hospital or Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
