Malcolm, Francis Clifford - 79, Lower River Inhabitants, which occurred Wednesday, July 21, 2010, in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Port Malcolm, Richmond Co., he was a son of the late Joseph and Minnie (Meunier) Malcolm. Francis was a retired employee of the Department of Lands and Forest’s, St. Peter’s. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish, Lower River Inhabitants. Surviving are nieces, Linda Maxwell, Janet Stupica, Deborah Balaz, Sheri Pringle, all of Ontario; Kim Chipman and Tracey Boutilier, both of Dartmouth; nephews, Butch, Rick, and Gary Malcolm, all of Ontario; Rodney Malcolm, Dartmouth; numerous grandnieces and grandnephews; great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. Predeceased by brothers Ernie, Leslie and stepbrother, Gordon. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass to be held 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Father Barrett Clare-Johnson officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
