PEEPLES, Theresa Marie- 92, Enfield, formerly of Mulgrave. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mom/Nanny on Sunday, May 25th, 2014 in the Magnolia Continuing Care Community in Enfield. Born in Port Hawkesbury on February 7, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Theresa (MacDonald) Ryan. A homemaker all her life, Mom was a life-long member of St. Lawrence Parish, Mulgrave, before moving to Enfield in 2010 to be near her only granddaughter. She is survived by granddaughter, Denise Kinney (Warren), Enfield, whom she raised from infancy after the loss of her daughter, Linda. She was a wonderful Nanny to her four great-grandchildren, Connor, Chandler, Jeremy and Maria. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clayton Peeples and daughters, Marie and Linda, stepmother, Tena (Grover), brothers, Allan, Leonard, Angus, Francis, Bernard, Gussie, Gregory; sister, Cassie Goodwin and two in infancy. A special thank you to the staff at the Magnolia for the love, comfort and care provided during her stay. Visitation in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place, Friday, May 30 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
