POLLARD, Lawrence Leslie 64, Vancouver, B.C., formerly of Port Hawkesbury, died Saturday, March 10, 2007, in Vancouver. Born in Port Hawkesbury, he was the son of the late John W. and Anna G. "Vinie" (Ryan) Pollard. He is survived by daughter, Kelly; grandchildren, Amanda and Matthew, all of Ontario; sisters, Joan (Ansel) Hurlburt, Marion Pollard, both of Port Hawkesbury; brothers, Jimmy, New Glasgow; Bobby (Judy), Port Hawkesbury; Brian, Calgary; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brother, Greg; sister, Brenda.
There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury, Father Bill Crispo officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
