RATTRAY, Arthur William – 78, Hazel Hill, Guysborough Co., passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at home. Art was born in Hazel Hill on July 14, 1934, he was a beloved son of the late Harry and Emma (MacDuff) Rattray. Art worked on the Dept. of Transport boat as a young man and later at the H.B. Nickerson fish plant. Surviving are sisters, Eira Currie, Dartmouth; Flora Jokinen (Jack), Boston, Mass; Louise Cote (John), P.E.I.; Velma Burke, BC; brother, Doug (Sally), Hazel Hill; sister-in-law, Helen Rattray, NB; many nieces and nephews He was predeceased by brothers, Hutton and Jack; sister, Edith. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18 from All Saints Anglican Church, Canso, with Rev. Darroch Fagan officiating. Burial in Fourth Hill Cemetery, Canso.
