THOMSON (MacLeod), Mary Margaret - 94, West Bay Marshes, died Saturday, March 24, 2007, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in West Bay Marshes, she was a daughter of the late James B. and Mary Belle (MacLachlan) MacLeod. Mary Margaret worked in the hospitality industry for many years and was a member of West Bay United Church. She is survived by brother, Philip MacLeod, West Bay Marshes; nieces, Cathy Connolly, Port Coquitlam, B.C.; Mary Lee MacLeod, West Bay Marshes; nephews, Hugh (Pat) MacLeod, Ken (Nancy) MacLeod, both of Stoney Creek, Ont.; Sandy (Stacey) MacLeod, Hamilton, Ont.; John (Paula) MacLeod, Delta, B.C.; numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Alex H., Johnnie, Ross, and Kenneth; sister, Catherine Macdonald. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 30 in West Bay United Church, Rev. James Bragan officiating. Burial in MacLeod Cemetery, West Bay Marshes, at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the West Bay Road Volunteer Fire Department or Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
