MacINTYRE, Catherine Jean 'Kaye' - 62, Port Hawkesbury, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 2, 2006, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Sydney on March 25, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Blanche (Leomoine) Townsend (Louisbourg). She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Fred 'Bugs'; daughter, Kelly, son-in-law, Pat, and precious grandchildren, Daniel and Leah; brothers, George (Rose), Bridgewater; Jim (Anne), Catalone; nephews, David, Donald, Russie, Melvin, and Michael; special niece/granddaughter, Shelly; many 'special' and dear friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Vesta (1988); Vesta's father, Vesty (1971). There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury, Father Bill Crispo officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations in Kaye's memory may be made to Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
