MATHESON, Mary Dolena - 92, Jubilee, Victoria Co., passed away Monday, March 20, 2006, in St. Anne Community and Nursing Care Centre, Arichat. Born in River Denys, she was a daughter of the late Malcolm and Mary Anne (Cummings) Cameron. Mary was a homemaker and a member of Little Narrows Presbyterian Church, W.M.S., and also Ladies Aid. She is survived by daughters, Kennena M. (Douglas) MacFadyen, Aberdeen; Laura P. (Harvey) MacKinnon, Whycocomagh; sons, Malcolm (Diane), Port Hawkesbury; Donald (Flora), Sydney; John Angus (Mae), Little Narrows; Duncan (Mary Ellen), Jubilee Road; Allan (Myrtle), Sydney; Alexander (Helen), Fall River; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Kenneth Donald Matheson; daughter, Anne E. Simpson; grandsons, Darryl J. and Leonard J.K. Matheson; brother, John A. Cameron; sisters, Annie J. and Laura M. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation will be held 2-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh, with funeral service Thursday, March 23, at 11 a.m. in Little Narrows Presbyterian Church, Rev. Ron Sharpe officiating. Burial in Cains Mountain Cemetery. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Cancer Society or Little Narrows Presbyterian Church.
