MURRAY, Lewis Gordon - 76, Portage Road, died Monday, February 28, 2005, in Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Orangedale East, he was a son of the late Duncan and Tilla (MacInnis) Murray.
Lewis was a farmer and fisherman, and adherent of Little Narrows Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Ethel MacLeod; daughters, Lynn and Lisa, both of Dartmouth; sister, Jessie Mae Lewis, Wilburn; brother, John D., Orangedale. He was predeceased by an infant brother, Malcolm; sister, Mary Catherine Baker.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Little Narrows Presbyterian Church, Rev. Ron Sharpe officiating. Burial in Little Narrows Cemetery. Donations in memory of Lewis may be made to Little Narrows Presbyterian Church or charity of your choice.
