WARNER, Leroy Charles 'Roy' - 73, Steep Creek, Guysborough Co., died Tuesday, September 7, 2004, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Steep Creek, he was a son of the late Charles and Maude Eva (Wheaton) Warner. Roy was a fisherman and retired employee of Eastern Canada Towing, Halifax. He was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Middle Melford. Surviving are his wife, the former Charlotte Scott; daughters, Barbara (Maurice) Ehler, Dartmouth; Maxine (Peter) Connolly, Guysborough Intervale; Margaret (Sherman) England, Antigonish; Lynda (Trent) Johnson, Bedford; sons, Charles (Sharon), Steep Creek; Leonard (Janice), Moncton, N.B.; John (Laura), Mulgrave; sisters, Eva (Mario) Riato, Toronto; Anne Hendsbee, Sand Point; Jean (John) Murray, Mulgrave; June Cunningham, Nepean, Ont.; Sophronia (Pat) Sillier, Nina Goodwin, both of Toronto; Rowena (Lloyd) Hadley, Hadleyville; brothers, Eddie (Ruth), Pirate Harbour; Jimmy Jamieson, Toronto; grandchildren, Lindsey and Matthew Ehler, Christina, Andrew, Patricia and Kenneth Connolly, Johnathan and Brandon Warner, Mitchell, Daniel, Avery and Abbie Warner. He was predeceased by stepfather, James Jamieson. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. today in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in St. James Anglican Church, Rev. Michael Conrad officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Roy may be made to St. James Church General Fund or a charity of choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
