Eileen & Family, George was an amazing man with a heart of gold! He always had a smile and something kind to say. His laugh was contagious and we enjoyed our time spent with him. Your going to miss him greatly as he was such a huge presence in your lives. Hold your memories of him close to your heart as that’s where he will always be. Big hugs to you all. Eileen & Family, I just learned of George's passing, he was a kind, thoughtful man and a great worker at the Gulf Refinery where we worked together. There was nothing George wouldn't do for you and he could always find any piece of equipment or material you needed. Always greeted you with a smile and a great attitude. Men like George are hard to find these days. My deepest sympathy, Jim Livingstone Calgary

Deepest sympathy to Eileen and all the family. Whether in church or town, George & Eileen were always together so it's a big loss. George was always friendly and cheerful. I remember him from my younger years when I tagged along with his sister-in-law, Vivian, to babysit his children in Point Tupper. Also, in later years he was so efficient delivering and picking up Priority Post at the Provincial Building, etc. One year he played Santa while I played Mrs. Santa at the funniest Christmas party ever on our floor of the Prov. Bldg. He was a good man. You are all in my thoughts & prayers during these difficult times.

Thank you, Roberta. I remember George laughing about that. I also remember a birthday surprise when one of the women jumped out of a cardboard box before he was presented with his cake. Lol

Sincere Condolences to Eileen and family's. I have lots of great memories of growing up in Point Tupper with George. He sure enjoyed his fast cars and the sounds of squealing tires. Swimming down at slip and weekends at the Head of the harbour with the gathering of local teens . Fly hi with the Angels.RIP dear cousin.,
