To all of Betty’s family, I offer my sympathy. Betty was a quiet, hardworking, ever present neighbour, aunt, grandmother, sister in law. She was often seen on her deck on a sunny morning or viewing her beautiful flowers, or at night the light was on in her TV room & we knew all was well. Her presence will be sorely missed. May your fond memories guide you as you begin to heal.

On a trip to Aulds Cove, Catherine and I decided to visit Aunt Betty in Mulgrave, she had company there; but we went in any way, it was Sr. Phyllis, Adrian his two girls and Anthony. Aunt Betty said now Annetta do not put this on Facebook, I laughed but never did, now everyone will see it. Love niece Annetta

Sorry to hear about the passing of Betty. I have many fond memories of her, when I was much younger, I spent time at her home, she always made me feel welcome ever thorough she had a house full of her own children. As time went on , anytime I would meet Betty she would take time to say hello and we would exchange stories of our lives which i appreciated. She was a very special person. As a paragon of beauty, strength and grace, the matriarch of the family, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a forever friend, a genuine kind heart that feels like home, and of course the coolest hockey mom. I will always cherish the beautiful memories of the countless nights we had spent watching hockey games, sharing laughs and enjoying a great feast of lobster and Chinese food together and your famous homemade lemon meringue pie and macaroni. May you rest peacefully and live through us always. You have been our greatest gift and I am forever grateful I had you to guide me and show me the purity of love ever lasting and kindness.
