Angus, so sorry to see Ruthie’s obituary in the paper today. I have so many fond memories of our younger days in Hunters Mountain, even though we were the town folks from Glacé Bay, she still had time and patience for us. I also enjoyed the few visits we had with you folks as we passed through Port Hawksbury. She was a special lady.

To Angus and family:
Bob and I send our deepest condolences. I worked with Ruth on many fundraisers for St. Mark's and always appreciated her organizational skills and how she could always come up with ideas. I remember hosting Ruth and Angus for a "Guess who is coming to dinner" fundraiser, and I was nervous about the meal as I knew what a great cook and baker she was, and hoped my meal would be satisfactory. We ended up having a great evening. Ruth will defintely be missed by many. RIP

Our family have fond memories of Ruth and her family from our time in Port Hawkesbury..
Ruth was a pleasure to work with. She was very pleasant, reliable and competent. She knew almost everyone that came into the office and treated everyone with exceptional congeniality.
Ruth was widely recognized within highways as a highly competent civil servant resolving problems for department staff and the public.

To Angus & Family,
We are so sad to learn of Ruth's passing. We are glad we got to know & work with Ruth after moving to Port Hawkesbury & joining St Marks Church. Ruth had a special talent for planning & managing fund raising events for St Marks, which she did on many, many occasions.We also appreciate the work that Ruth did during her many years as offering envelope secretary, a meticulous job that she handled with ease. We will miss her & our Sunday morning chats when we dropped off offering envelopes after church most Sundays.
