William James Mac Lellan

 Age 77

 Judique, Inverness Co.

 Passed away at home on Friday, June 30, 2023. Born on MacLellan Road, Judique on December 1, 1945, he was the 9th of Alex Dan and Marie (Gillis) Mac Lellan’s 12 children.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gloria (Mac Donald) Mac Lellan; their 4 children Darlene (Jeff), Leonard (Maureen), Tara (Dustin), and Kendra (John); grandchildren, Ava, Owen, Alexis, Lauren, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Allan, Anna, Benjamin, Logan, and Matthew. He is survived by his siblings, Theresa, John, Agatha, Donald, Lawrence, Margie, and Isabel. Besides his parents William is predeceased by Isabel (1952), Peter (1987), Elizabeth (1996), and Irene (2000).

He will be sincerely missed for his skill as a carpenter, his loyalty and kindness toward family, his attention to detail with genealogy and his humor so finely interwoven into his storytelling.

We would like to extend a very sincere and heartfelt thank you and appreciation to the family and friends of Mom and Dad for the outpouring of love and support.

The family would like to especially thank Veronica Mac Donald, Juliette Mudra, Sheila and David Mac Donell, your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, in the Community Room, Judique Fire Hall. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2023, in St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, Judique with Father Allan MacMillan officiating. Burial to follow in St. Andrew's Parish Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Central Inverness Hospice Palliative Care c/o Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital.
