I am still in disbelief ,another dear soul gone to soon. My god Viola was a true friend,from highschool til just a few months ago . Vi would check in with me from time to time . She was one person in my life I could open up to and she listened so well ..She cared so much for so many and will leave a void in my heart as well as many others whom she touched . Dear Gilllis, Pat, Liz and family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of dear Viola.
She was a great friend to me and many other people. I learned a lot from her about the importance of treating people right and appreciating the love of your family.
She would never say, but I know, there were many young people in that area who were able to enjoy the sport of judo, solely because of her kind heard and generosity.
It is very hard to be so far away at this time. The last time we spoke, I mentioned that I would be coming to see her this fall. I am sad that I will have to wait longer, but I feel that I will see my beautiful friend once again someday, and I hope that you all take comfort knowing that you all will as well.

I will always remember Viola as being funny and warm, and I always remember her dancing in the kitchen in Frankville. She loved Meghann and Patrick so much and her eyes always lit up when she talked about them. She was such a special person, and I will always have a place in my heart for her. Viola was two years younger than me, but our families were more like cousins in our little rural area. Viola was always kind and friendly and a beautiful girl. She also had an inner strength, which got her through a lot, and she had grace, which you don't always see.
My condolences to the whole family. It's just wrong to lose this lovely woman so early, but she made her mark and how lovely the world became because of her.
