Hello Brenda, Brian, and Barbara I am so sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. I always admired your dad’s positive attitude and great smile. In comparing our fathers, I saw your father as always upbeat, where my father was more serious. I guess that is why they got along so well. My condolences to you all. Every time I would visit my grandma Anne in Evanston, Charlie would always take the time to come over and see me. We would play games and he would trick me with mind puzzles and tell the best jokes. He will be greatly missed by all. From Josie McNamara.

My late husband, Vern, and I were good friends of the King family. We were very involved with them in the Thunderbolt Swim Team while we lived in Port Hawkesbury. I am so sorry to read of Charlie's passing, he was involved in many things in Port Hawkesbury, and Charlie and Florence were great to entertain in their home for many occasions. Our family sends our condolences to their children, Brenda, Brian and Barb.
